Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2025

Daft Music (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is built and maintained as an independent application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) What We Collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) on our own servers. The app may require certain permissions (e.g., Apple Music access) to function, but any such data remains on your device and is not transmitted to Daft Music.

2) Third-Party Services (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may process limited data (e.g., transaction history, anonymized device identifiers, subscription status) to validate purchases and provide entitlements. Daft Music does not receive your payment information.

For details, please review RevenueCat’s privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

3) Apple Music API

Daft Music integrates with the Apple Music API to provide music playback, browsing, and related features. Music content is not hosted or stored by Daft Music. Your use of Apple Music features is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies. You can learn more about Apple’s Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

4) Diagnostics & Log Data

In the event of an error, limited diagnostic information (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) may be collected by third-party tools (e.g., within Apple’s ecosystem or RevenueCat) and used only to improve performance and reliability. This information is not used to identify you personally.

5) Cookies

Daft Music does not use cookies directly. Third-party services integrated into the app (such as RevenueCat) may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their functionality. You can manage cookie and tracking preferences through your device settings.

6) Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

7) Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information processed via the Service. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
